Oat Brownies
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of sifted ScotMaple Oats flour.
300g of chopped chocolate.
3 tablespoons of butter/ butter replicant.
2 large eggs/ egg replicant.
2/3 cup of sugar.
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
1/4 teaspoon of sifted baking powder.
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder.
Instructions:
- Place 200g of your chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat and gently stir until melted and smooth. Set aside.
- Place the eggs, sugar and vanilla in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment and beat for 15 minutes or until pale and creamy.
- Preheat the oven at 190 degrees Celsius for 6 minutes.
- Add in ScotMaple flour, baking powder, melted chocolate mixture, remaining 100g of chocolate and mix to combine.
- Set aside to stand for 10 minutes.
- Pour onto parchment lined or butter lined baking pans.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
